Our Grüner Veltliner is treated with much care in the winery.
A vibrant wine, precise with good structure and a backbone of zesty acidity leaving the wine with a refreshing finish.
Varietal: Grüner Veltliner
Aroma: Shows classic aromas of white pepper, nectarine, fruit blossom and hints of dill.
Palate: The palate is crisp and distinctive with flavours of nectarine, white peach and a juicy acid finish.

Suggested Cellaring: 4-6 Years
Vinification: The fruit is chilled overnight, foot-stomped & pressed. The pure free-run portion is fermented clean in stainless steel to retain the delicate aromatics of Grüner Veltliner. The pressed portion is crafted more in the traditional style where the juice is fermented in seasoned French Oak barriques, retained on lees post ferment with some lees stirring to add complexity and roundness to the palate. Combining the two portions delivers a richer, softer more food friendly palate whilst still allowing the beautiful aromatics to shine.
