coff-ell-ay “…win the drinkers heart with elegance"
Visit Soave and ask the owners of the Enoteca's and Restaurants who makes the best Soave wine, and Coffele is highly likely to be the answer. Their Soaves are simply the most vivid expression of great fruit. They are fresh, textured and zingy and show this fruit quite distinctly with the characters of melon, flowers, honey, minerals and touches of herb or spice. Coffele are quality and purity fanatics; a true family winery, right down to hand harvesting in baskets of no more than 20 kg, before they are sent to the tender cares of the winery. Gambero Rosso (2007) says “This is the territory of great, classy Italian white wines....The standard-label Soave is a text book example of cleanness and freshness, even showing quite complex aromas ...As ever, the Recioto Le Sponde reflects the huge efforts expended on its creation ...”
