We are so pleased to have discovered Eradus after a year-long search for a suitable Marlborough producer. Their Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir stood out amongst the crowd. From the very cool Awatere Valley sub-region of Marlborough we now offer these wines of high elegance, yet generous flavors all delivered harmoniously, and with the long clean finish you would hope for. Amongst an ocean of ordinary Marlborough Sav Blanc, it is refreshing to find such class … and no need to pay through the nose. Good Pinot is usually quite expensive, but thanks to Eradus, we are now able to offer complex Pinot under ... LUC! Brilliant wines are usually so because of the work in the vineyards. Eradus Sauvignon Blanc 2009 - Marlborough, NZ
Since 2006, this wine has won top accolades from wine critics and show judges every year. Amongst an ocean of ordinary Sav Blanc, this one stands out like a beacon. Top savvy at a very reasonable price. The nose is a harmonious array of passionfruit, stone fruit, floral notes and more. Eradus Pinot Noir 2008 - Marlborough, NZ
This will please any Pinot Noir fan. More so once the price is revealed. It has complex, fresh cherry fruit with savoury overtones. Perfectly judged tannins with vibrant acidity make it hard to drink just one glass. Excellent length. Elegant. Congratulations Michiel! This is a clear demonstation of just how brilliant the Awatere Valley is for Marlborough Pinot.
Eradus Pinot Gris 2009, Marlborough NZ
Aromas of white peach, pear and stone fruits present harmoneously. These carry through to the palate flavours backed by a lovely smooth texture and an off-dry sweetness that adds texture and fullness. This is an elegant wine with a delicate and sophisticated structure. The finish is clean and long - beautifully balanced with minerality and lovely acidity.
