2004 Barolo 'Roggeri'
This is made from Nebbiolo grapes grown exclusively in the Roggeri vineyard.
Liquor Style: Dry Red
Descriptions: The rich structure of this wine, conveyed by the clayey soil,
is enhanced by the low yield in the vineyard which never exceeds 45 hl/ha. This is one of the reasons why this Barolo is subject to a traditionally long period of maceration. It is aged in French oak barrels the characteristic notes of which harmonize perfectly with the wine.
Bottle Closure: Cork
Country of Origin: Italy
Region of Origin: Piemonte
Sub-region of Origin:
"Complex aromas of tar, rose, strawberry and light earth follow through to a full body, with a dense core of fruit and silky, refined and racy tannins. Balanced and beautiful already. Best after 2011. 500 cases made."
