In November 2008, Bill Pannell of Picardy conducted a Masterclass tasting of current releases and back vintages of their excellent wines.  The event was held at the Sydney Wine Centre, hosted by Porter's Pyrmont and Global Fine Wines. General consensus was that clearly all of the wines age spectacularly well.  Further, judging by the current releases, Picardy seem to be going from strength to stregth with the current releases probably the best yet.  All wines showed superb balance, complexity, expressed captivating Pemberton terroir and Pannell know-how ... and finished with great length.
