2015 Gimblett Gravels Crofters Syrah
In 2013, they purchased a third vineyard at the end of Mere Road. They started the conversion process to organic production straight away and the vineyard is now certified organic. When this wine was made, the vineyard was in conversion. They have a number of different clones of Syrah at this vineyard. This Syrah is a blend of some of the Syrah batches from the vineyard. With this, they are aiming for a wine which is approachable soon after bottling.

>> "From their Fernhill Vineyard in the Gimblett Gravels district, this youthful charmer is filled with dark plum, blueberry, floral and spice characters with subtle game complexity. The palate shows excellent purity and silky texture, beautifully framed by fine tannins. Lovely elegant expression of the variety showing attractive fruit intensity and refinement. At its best: 2016 to 2022."
