Casaloste Chianti Classico Riserva 2010 Tuscany, Italy Our Chianti Classico Riserva is generally made from the finest grapes mostly Sangiovese and is aged in barrels and barriques of French oak. It has a rich ruby colour. Made to mature and to evolve with more and more character, the wine goes beautifully with grilled red meats and well-aged cheeses. Varietal: 92% Sangiovese, 8% Complementary grapes Aroma: Presents a complex nose. Its bouquet is a harmony of the typical Sangiovese fruits and a hint of oak aromas. Palate: Rich on the palate, our Riserva strikes a perfect balance between sweet tannins and acidity. Bottle Closure: Cork Serving temperature: 17°C Vinification: Small sized stainless steel vats using selected yeasts and controlled temperature, with “delestage”. Aged on French oak barriques from Allier for about 14 months with “batonnage” and “oxygen macrobulage”.
