Corte Moschina Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore 2014 Verona (Veneto), Italy The "Ripasso" is a new wine for the Veronese tradition. It originates from a second alcolic fermentation of the Valpolicella wine with the dregs of Amarone pressed grapes. The result is a full-bodied intriguing wine which brings out its complexity after a short period of maturing. Varietal: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Cabernet Aroma: It has a nose of blackberries, black cherries and cherries with spices at the end. Palate: In the mouth, it is intensely full bodied and well flavoured. Bottle Closure: Cork Serving temperature: 16°C Harvest: Handpicked at the end of September. Vinification: 30 days in stainless steel tanks. 20 days in stainless steel tanks with dregs of Amarone pressed grapes. Spend 18 months in various size barrels. Alcohol: 14% |
