Cuvee Flore Red 2016

Varietal:  70% Carignan, 30% Grenache noir.

Appearance: Cherry-Red

Aroma: classic smell of wild berries

Palate: flavours of red fruits with a prolonged body and supple tannins.


Origin:  Bizanet Village, piedmont of the Fontfroide hills, southwest of Narbonne in Languedoc-Roussillon.

Soil:  Limestone colluvium and Campanian sandstone.

Climate: Mediterranean, windy. Dryness increased by the prevailing winds that blow from the west and northwest (Cers and Tramontana)

Wine-Making Method:
 Traditional wine making methods are used. Each variety is fermented separately, using de-stemmed grapes. Pumping over is carried out during fermentation. The wine is then blended after having been clarified.
