Prancing Pony Brewery
With a New Range of Beer & Cider in our 'Stable' Prancing Pony is an ‘all grain and all hop’ brewery, which means they brew their beers using malt, hops, yeast and water, only. They draw their inspiration from traditional recipes for many of their beers and for others, we incorporate their own interpretation of a beer style and may add non-traditional hops, unusual malts or simply experiment with brewing and fermenting technologies. Common to all their beers is intended to create long and lingering flavours, beers of high standard and quality and beers that will be remembered. From Prancing Pony's Session Pilsener to their full expedition strength Stout, there is a beer for almost everybody and once you have found a favorite, it is quite possible that it will be replaced by your next favorite Pony. All of the beers have won medals and trophies however, the pinnacle for them was winning ‘Supreme Champion Trophy’ at the International Beer Challenge in London in 2016 for our India Red Ale and best small Australian Brewery in 2015. Piattelli (Argentina)
One Brand & Two Wineries in the 2 Best Regions There is a distinct terroir and climate for each - the Mendoza and Cafayate region. Both have the best grape growing regions in all of Argentina, and Piattelli wanted to showcase them. CAFAYATE You can primarily find Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat, Cabernet Franc and Torrontés in the Cafayate region. Their winery is headed by Alejandro Nesman and is a site to behold. It is an architectural masterpiece that produces some of the best wines in the region. The Cafayate winery opened in 2012 and has quickly become one of the top wineries and tourist destinations in Salta. The valley is ideal for grapevine cultivation and their winery is one of the only gravity-flow watered ones in Argentina. MENDOZA Opened in 2002, The Mendoza Winery is headed by Valeria Antolin, who is the heart of Piattelli operations. It is located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains as the vineyards rely on its snow-crested peaks to provide irrigation, a significant aspect of what makes their wines exquisite. The winery has 40,000 case capacity and is the production hub for the majority of Piattelli's varietals. These vineyards are located in Agrelo - Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza and Valle de Uco. There is no need for pesticides as the area is pest-free due to naturally low-humidity and high altitudes - making Mendoza USDA certified organic. More of Piattelli here.. |

Repour Winesaver
Save and Preserve Your Favorite Wines Need an alternative to Coravin? Here is a much more cost- and time efficient solution to keep your wines from oxidization. The Repour stopper is the easiest, most effective wine preserver there is. Invented and developed by Chemist and Founder Tom Lutz, Repour is the first of its kind to actively and continuously preserve original aroma and taste by eliminating ALL of the oxygen from your wine. No oxygen means your wine doesn’t degrade. Instead of throwing out a bottle of wine that has gone bad, or messing with complex and ineffective vacuums, pumps, cartridges, batteries, and other contraptions, simply insert the Repour wine stopper in place of the bottle’s original cork, and preserve the wine for the life of the opened bottle. Your favorite wine, simply saved and perfectly preserved. Enjoy every glass. More details of Repour here.. |

Wine Window
Your Window to Excellent German Wines When Friends become family, become partners… These amazing guys are born and bred where Marko – the owner of Global Fine Wines was made. Their story is a simple one of two friends living in Mainz, one of the Great Wine Capitals, with a passion for outstanding German wine. When Elsa migrated to Australia it did not take long to realize that access to affordable, yet high-quality German wine was rather limited. Inevitably they had to find a way to change this and ensure that supply was made available. They teamed up with young promising wine makers to create their own wine allowing them to offer a piece of German culture to Australia. More about Wine Window here.. |
