Viña Pedrosa Cepa Gavilán Crianza 2015

Vina Pedrosa is one of the most prestigious wineries in Spain.  The cask is aged for 12 months in oak showing a beautiful ruby red colour.   

It has distinguishable aromas of fresh fruit underscored by notes of cedar wood and liquorice with a most elegant mineral touch. 

It is powerful and enveloping in the mouth. An amazingly successful wine with which this winery shows off its “firm foundations”.  It is a beautiful intro to the range of Pedrosa.

Varietal: Tempranillo

Aroma: On the nose, it has great intensity.  It has ripe fruit, balsamic, spicy aromas with a wonderful mineral backbone. The wood is very well integrated with the fruit and the wine shows great balance.

Palate: On the palate, it is powerful, fruity, with noble tannins that give the wine a great concentration and opulence.  It is vivid with sensations of fruit, menthol, cocoa, toasted, coffee and minerals.
